Awwwwwe! Little spotty-wotty tail all better! Did mommy kiss it and make it better.

Now Dentoid, a little TLC goes a long ways. Glad to see he's better.
Obviously, somebody's mommy kissed Vicki's booboo too and made it better!

Re: The Bluespot Club

Please I was not getting down on any culture. I realize now how my post sounded but what I was trying to say was can you imagine eating a clam we pay $60 or so dollars for for dinner. Obviously they are cheaper there or very few people would eat them. Obviously some people also like the taste or again few would eat them.
There are a lot of things common to other cultures that I would likely not eat but that doesn't mean anything about the people who do like and eat various things.
I am really sorry I put up such a post to have it so misunderstood.
I love all people and realize that different cultures have different foods and ways of doing things.

No problemo, we have to always think about what we type before hitting the Post Reply button, unless you use the Edit option , eh?

It's all good, so back to the BSJF chatter, so what's new?

Re: The Bluespot Club

Hope everyone doesn't mind that I took the liberty to clean up some posts a bit. I would like this thread to stay on topic as much as possible. What has anyone learned about Bluespots today?

Re: The Bluespot Club

Well I learned that this is a defensive stance for the BS. Dotty takes that stance anytime she is confronted with a bigger fish. Backside turned and head up. (Picture borrowed from Lorraine's photo gallery)

Here it is again seen in my BS, but the tang got a little too close, so she snapped!

Here is another photo of Dotty defending her burrow against the blue ogre!

I also learned that Dotty will swim out of her burrow before pooing and if she has an accident in her burrow she will scoop it up in her mouth and spit it away from her burrow. I have seen this on numerous occasions. I observe her a lot!

Re: The Bluespot Club

That stance is Mr. 50's "I want to come out and play woof-woof with the doggies. They have my wooby and I want it back!"

Where oh where has everybody gone to?

I haven't posted here in a long time, but I have been reading all the posts. I know that he is not a Bluespot, but at least he is a Jawfish. He has been a very cool fish. I am glad I picked him up.

Unhappy Re: The Bluespot Club

Hi you lucky people

You will have to forgive me. I stole one of your pictures for my desk top------I took the one of Dotty and the big blue ogre. You guys have the real thing and I am still trying to think how to make things safe for one or two---or maby three?

I can not really truthfully say I will not do it again either. I really wish you guys would tell some more stories of your BSJF (with pictures) for us poor beggars.

Sorry, (not)

Re: The Bluespot Club

I want a T-shirt with that photo on it and the club logo. What do you all think about that? The memorial T-shirt! It's a sad week for us! Mr. 50 has been missing most of the week too. RIP.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Mermaid I'm glad you like the picture. Dotty was fiesty and full of life.

Lorraine, I'm so sorry about Mr50. Perhaps we should add anemones to the list of what not to house with BSJF.
