Considering they reach a length of 4-5 inches, 8G is under the inches/gallon ratio for stocking a SW tank.

Lynn, I have my guy in a 24 gallon Aquapod. He has been doing great, and he has the tank landscaped to his liking. I am planning on keeping him in the 24 gallon. IMO, they do better with less company in the tank. Just my opinion!

Re: The Bluespot Club

My fish store keeps them in a small space and they don't appear stressed by it, but I would worry about WQ and stability more than anything. Their small tanks are all interconnected to one large water system.

BTW, $70 is a steal!

I knew somebody was useing the Aquapod but couldn't remember who. . When I next try this fish I may put him in my pod as well. I'm not getting anymore seahorses in the near future so I could turn it into a BSJ tank. Right now there is just a clown goby a cleaner shrimp and pearly jawfish. Hmm actually it may fight with the pearly. I'll figure something out.

Re: The Bluespot Club

I would not house a BS in anything less than 20G and that would be pushing it.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Im' concerned about conflicts between a BSJF and my yellow head sleeper goby? In a 55. Any ideas or input appreciated. I don't want to pay $70 for a fight to the death. Unless maybe it's pay per view. lol

Re: The Bluespot Club

The BS could harrass the sleeper goby. I don't think the BS would kill it, but it might stress it out to the point that it could die on you. When my BSs were together, one was like a dog with two bones, it didn't matter that it has it's own den, it wanted the other one too.

Victor, get rid of the Yellow Headed Sleeper goby and go with the BS. You'll be glad you did!

GET RID OF GARY! Sir I'm appalled!
I want him to die of old age.
He's hilarious. I hide cubes of blood worms and mysis shrimp in the gravel and see how long it takes him to sniff it out. Unfortunately ALL the fish have figured out that where Gary eats, scraps fly. Fish learn very quickly. I did not expect that.

But the second he dies I see a bluespot in my future.
