| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: The Bluespot Club Nobody would dare give you bad karma. We would bring you right back up anyway. Yippie! A new blue for the club. Glad he is doing so well at the lfs. Mine is doing great. He did something last night that I just have to share. Next time I hope I have the camera cause this would have been great video. So, it is feeding time at the tank. I am over on the side where blue is so I can make sure he eats. He is in the tunnel actually dug by blue2 who is no longer with us. I start feeding and he starts to come out. Grab some food and dart back with just his head out as usual. Then the Chevron comes by closer than usual to his tunnel. In the blink of an eye he is back inside and has grabbed a large piece of rubble and closed the front of the tunnel. A few seconds later he moves the rock and goes back to feeding leaving the rubble right next to the opening. A couple of minutes later the same thing happens again and again he not only went into his tunnel, but closed the door. I was lauging so hard. I swear he was closing the door. You could hardly tell there was a tunnel at all. Sorry but I was seriously amazed. I will have the camera tonight when I feed so if it happens again I will have it. Maybe I should just video every feeding time.

| Torch coral ![]() | Re: The Bluespot Club Hi guys. I picked up a really nice, bold colored, Bluespot on Tuesday evening from my LFS. He moved from his original spot Thursday morning, and I had a hard time finding him. I knew that he was still in the tank because there was a lot of sand movement. Finally, late last night, I found him. I am hoping that he will stay in his new spot. Currently, he is deep in the hole. I am going to let him get comfortable with his new surroundings. As soon as he pops out, I will try to take some pictures. I hope he likes his new home (90 gallon reef tank). Take care, Reza Irvine, Ca. |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: The Bluespot Club I am at 76-78. Trying to keep it a bit cooler for the ponies and the blue. Blue seems fine so far BTW. Certainly is eating and digging anyway. I didn't know I had that much substrate. It is everywhere.

| Tridacna maxima ![]() | Re: The Bluespot Club I have raised mine to 79 degrees because with lights on I can't get it lower than that. It stays more stable by raising the nighttime temp. Will have to rethink all of this with the new hood, which will have some built in fans but MHs.
