Yes, they're all in his 450, but they've chosen to live in a foot and a half square space! They are getting along fine with one another, and they are all beauties of course!

Re: The Bluespot Club

Bam Bam moved to the left front corner of the tank, right up against the glass, so I have privileged information; I can see inside his burrow.... now you can, too!

His spot by the glass

Inside the burrow

WAY down inside the burrow... the rocks at the top are the top of the substrate.

That area is easily more than 6" deep now, and you can see how he lined the burrow with rocks. I'm not sure he likes it, though, because he knows we can see him. We'll see how long he stays there. When we walk up he hunkers down inside then realizes.... WHOOPS! they can still SEE me! lol

WOW! A 450! I see baby blues in store with a set-up like that. And if Lorraines' Mr. & Mrs. BJ hook up, who knows? The stork may pay a visit!

BTW, great pics of Bam Bam and his burrow, fantastic!

The Misses' new spot.

Poor BJ is lost under the plate coral. I moved it, which made him very happy.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Very cool.
Love the pics and the stories. You guys are making me start thinking about being brave and trying 2. Frank keeps talking me out of it by reminding me what I would do if anything happened to Sunshine.
Interrestingly enough she has moved all of the sand where she like to hang out. My tank looks like sand dunes and she lives in the lowest part. Constantly moving and making new homes. I keep thinking about taking the rubble from her old homes that she doesn't use anymore but then I will see her visiting it.
It must be super cool to watch 5 of them interract. We need some video of that.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Thanks, Basser1!

Lynn, in Terry's tank all five are within a foot-and-a-half square area... they had that whole 450g tank to settle in and they picked to be close to one another! I think he has a mixture of boys and girls. They look like prairie dogs all bobbing up and down.. very neat!

It's a good thing I got the shots of Bam Bam in his glass-sided burrow because this morning he had moved house again. He's only 4" away, but not next to the glass. I didn't think he felt comfortable there.. he definitely could see us looking at him when he was down inside. He just looks more relaxed and comfortable now.

Did you post a pic? I can't see it if you did. Do you have a name picked out yet?

Re: The Bluespot Club

Welcome. We must have pic to qualify but all blues are welcome and loved.
I'm going to the LFS today. Let's see how much trouble I can get into. I don't even know if they have one but you know I will be looking and debating. I wonder is Terry's success is because of the multiple fish. I would think a group would get along better than just 2. Not really sure about that one. Well, we will se what they have and go from there.
