Actually, they're not picky at all! I feed them whenever I feed the fish. When I get done feeding Digger his mysis, I'll squirt some on them. I also feed brine shrimp and cyclopeeze as well. I've read that the more you feed them, the more they grow.

Sellers - Congrats on the new arrival! I'll bet he will pick a new hole in the future so he can see you better.

Basser - I agree, Digger is huge and the Dendros are great. I almost bought some today! Came home with fish food instead.

update time....he made 2 new holes today...construction is underway. He covered his other hole up last night and now he has 2 holes connecting like a "V" and underneath is like his layer its all borrowed out...im uploading pics now....and he officially has a name IGGY...he reminds me of my old iguana i had named iggy so he was named pics up i a few

you can see his other burrow on the other side of the rock by his head...he's burrowing closer....he's gonna have so much fun in his 220 in 3-4 months...i'm going with a fine sand 6-8" sandbed....cant wait

im trying to raise clowns why not BSJF too
anyone have any good links to tell how to sex these creatures? I know alot has to do with attitude but any hardcore evidence?

The males have bigger heads and develop white sides when they are with a female during breeding season. In a 220 you might be ok with even 2 males. I don't know.

i know they basically swim up to a female open thier mouth and show off black spots on their face...then the female leads them back to her burrow. any picture references....ill google see if i can find any
