Great pics Barb!
I love the one with his mouth full and the one mid spit.
He is probably mesmerizing himself with his own reflection.
"Why hello there good looking!" lol

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

I'm having a lot of fun with this camera! I took a bunch of those shot on 'continuous' so I could get those with the sand. I put up the tripod this evening... so I'm going to upload those shots to post here in a few minutes.

And lol you're probably right about what he's thinking when he sees himself! I mean, he IS really good looking.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Here are a few new shots of Hadrian. After being content with just one burrow for about a month, he went and excavated half the tank over the weekend!

Just click on the photo to get the full shot. He's also extremely bold, swimming around in the water column a lot more than I would expect for a jawfish. This may be a result of him having been first into the tank, along with the relative peacefulness of his tankmates.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Great pics!

Adam - Did he settle back in or is he still on the move?

Barb - I'm noticing light patches. Did his patch on his belly go away? Are these that are remaining getting a bit better each day? I really like to take photos because you see things like this that you can miss otherwise. I would never have noticed that BJ was injured if I hadn't taken his pic. I'm not asking to worry you, just curious. I know BJ was really roughed up from shipping when I got him but within a week or two he was doing great.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Lorraine, the patches look about the same, I think. He does also have some along his sides. He is so busy constructing it's hard to get a great view. I'm going to look back through the pictures, and get some new shots tomorrow to compare. I sure do hope it's just from all the work he's doing.

He has started eating voraciously in the last two days, so I think he's settling in. Hopefully, with his new eating habits his coloration will begin to even out. He's much more comfortable.. .he's coming further out of his burrow to eat and gather rocks, etc.

Re: The Bluespot Club

He's settled in, Lorraine. He hasn't moved house, but he has a tendancy to actually leave his burrow and swim around the tank. Odd, but he's eating well, and is very responsive to my presence near the tank. I think it's just a boldness borne of his passive companions.
