Re: The Bluespot Club

Pebbles is limited in her 34 gallon tank, but she has 2 connected burrows, 1 single burrow, and another set of 2 connected burrows. she doesnt use the rubble i give her though. I give her pieces of rubble from cc size to as big and bigger than her head. She just covers them with sand.

Re: The Bluespot Club

What does she use for her burrows?
Sunshine uses a lot of snail shells. She even has 2 spiny oyster shells in use and they are many times larger than she is.
Glad to hear somebody else has connected tunnels though. I thought she was just strange.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Well, i thought she might be taking after mommy and being out of the norm.
I really need to get her tank cleaned up so I can post pics. We have been waiting to do a major maintenance and change when we take down and move the tank.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Mine looks like the burrow above, just a dent in the sand. She has plenty of rubble though if she changes her mind.

Re: The Bluespot Club

The little guy just moved to this spot two days ago. Before that, he had lived in another location for months and months. I guess he wanted to move to a prime location in front of the tank.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Just a dent in the sand - I call that L A Z Y! I guess if nothing in the tank is bothering you, why go to the trouble of building a den!

Nice to see an updated post Nervoustime! I was just thinking about you and wondering how your little guy was doing.

Lynn- Be very careful if you do decide to do some maintenance. I would hate for the tank to break because of an imbalance.
