Re: The Bluespot Club

Seahorse, is that a yellow wrasse; heliochoeres chrysus?

Your tank is beautiful, and your BSJF are amazing.

Re: The Bluespot Club

Bad news. Somehow BR managed to jump through a tiny little crack between my plexiglass and eggcrate. My friend stepped on him this morning. His dried up carcass was on the floor. Any body know where I can get another one? I need to fill that hole as quick as possible.

May his memory live on.

I can not stress enough their escape abilities! The same thing happened to my first one! I'm so sorry Seahorse.

Re: The Bluespot Club

thanks for the support. I had not fed him the night before because I was getting home from 8th grade graduation so maybe that was it. The plexiglass melts a little bit and bends down making a tiny crack that I thought was safe. It was so small. If anybody sees them on LA let me know. I feel so bad when
I look in my tank and at the empty burrow.

Re: The Bluespot Club

How horrible for you.
I have heard of them even getting through the eggcrate so that may be what happened.
My LFS has two that have been there a month. Not sure about shipping to an individual but they are a wholesaler so they probably would. Let me know if you want me to talk to them. They don't qt or anything but they have been there over a month. I keep thinking about getting another and trying to pair it with Sunshine but I am too chicken.

Re: The Bluespot Club

If they have been threre a month they would have been affected by disease right? How much are they each? Could you find out shipping to 60048? Are they together? Lots of Q's, thanks for letting me know.

Re: The Bluespot Club

They are not together they are side by side in those little cube things. I don't remember how much they were and I didn't ask about shipping but I certainly can. I would think they are disease free or at the very least eating. The last time I tried to feed them they wouldn't eat but that was several weeks ago so they should be either eating of very very skinny at this point. I would certainly try to feed one and give it a general look see before doing anything. They are connected to his whole system though so I could not guarantee they are disease free. I have however gotten quite a few fish from them including my blue and have not had a problem yet.
I'll go up there tomorrow and see what they say. I didn't look at them today cause I was afraid I would buy one but I did ask and they are both still there.
