HE ATE PELLETS!
I am soo exited I had to scream.
I gotta take a pic of the structure he made overnight. He used everything I had put in there except one piece and then he covered it all with sand. All you can see is his little head popping out. He watched the first couple of pellets fall and I was worried. Then a few more and he came out for breakfast. Now mush for dinner and hopefully all will be well.
Thank you so much. I think you just saved Sparkles life. You have certainly made him happier.

There is such a great support group here. I really think the knowledge we get from each other really increases the chance of survival. You do have to start with a healthy fish but we are learning more and more about how to keep them happy for a longer amount of time.
They really are a fun fish and absolutely beautiful.

Lynn, he looks very happy in the pic! Just wait 'til he starts building his back door, then the side door. He has only just begun.

My little guy is snug as a bug in a rug! BJ is a moviestar already! My tanks were TOTM at our local reef club tonight and of course he was the highlight. It was fun!
