Re: The Bluespot Club

Gah!!!
I have missed so much in the last few days.
I have been very sick. Like not even getting outta bed. Anyways, it is so great to see everyone with thier nice healthy Bluespots.
Just reporting in to tell that Jose is doing as well as ever.

~tp039282- It is really cool to see a fish (BSJF) that is normally VERY territorial, being friendly with other fish. My BSJF (Jose) will not let anything near his burrow, except his best friend. My female mandarin.
When I first put her in the tank, she did not know about Jose's Home. She swam over it. I swear, Jose litterally picked her up and set her down about 5 inches from his burrow. Ever since then they are tight. She is the only fish that can come near his home. She can actually swim into his burrow now, She also sleeps about 2 incehs from Jose.

Anyways......I AM GLAD TO HEAR THE BLUESPOT QUEEN,HAS HER SPOTS BACK. It was just not right you being spotless. CONGRATS!!!!!

Good to seee so many BSJF doing so well, good luck to everyone.

Maybe one day I can be the BSJF KING, or even prince.

Oh, I almost bought Megan a Baby Blue the other day. There was one on the divers den, but I just though he looked funny. I am sure he was healthy, but he just wasnt as pretty as Jose. So Megan will have to wait.

Re: The Bluespot Club

So did Jose bring you the Bluespot Club paper in bed? Feed you chicken soup?

I must admit, I did feel a bit underdressed without my spots!

Re: The Bluespot Club

My Bluespot has been eating the seaweed, and he seems to love it. Over the past five months, he had shown no interest in the seaweed. Now, for the past few weeks, he takes big pieces of seaweed and eats it all. I put a partial sheet on a clip and attach it to the inside of the tank. In the past, he would take a piece and spit it out. Now, he eats every piece. Not only does he go after it on the clip, but today, he took a piece right out of Purple Tang's mouth, without any fear. I thought it was pretty cool, so I wanted to share it with you guys.

He likes it all. Maybe, the seaweed will bring out his colors even more.

Re: The Bluespot Club

I'm trying to not fuss with him and eating. He is eating normally and good, but I don't baby him. He is in an area where the water flows very strange around, so stuff doesn't go directly to him and the Palani is right in the center eating. The pumps eventually take what is left towards him, but by then all the prime morsels are taken by Palani and friends. He seems to be used to stuff like mysis and krill and so he overlooks the homemade mush. He now darts extremely fast out of his hole for food and back again.

He hasn't moved from this first spot he chose, but he has gathered most of the shells that are around him and has them lined up underneath the mushroom rock. I think he has a hole that goes to the bottom of the tank. I keep expecting him to move around, but I am happy that he is staying put.

Re: The Bluespot Club

He does look like he has fattened up a bit since he got here (and brightened up too). He was a little shaken up when I first got him, so I am glad he settled in.
