I finally got him seems like I placed that order forever ago. I got the BSJF, 2 pom pom crabs (both have 2 anemones), some trochus and ceriths everything came in alive. The BSJF is about 3.5" and set up in a cup shaped area of a large peice of tonga, he made himself three exits which I thought from reading this thread was kind of odd. I haven't gotten him to take food yet, later today i'm going to go over to the LFS and stock up on frozen goodies and see if i get him fully settled.

Scratch that he has an appetite but he likes whatever these big pellets are and he only targets them in the water column - some sample bluezoo sent. Any foods you guys really like?

My Jose will eat ANYTHING. They are not super pickiy eaters once you get them established. Mysis, silversides, krill, pellets, table shrimp, scallop, squid, baby fish (cardinal babies) pods, Nori, basically anything that gets near there burrow ( or in my case, anything that touches the water) is fair game. I'm gonna fail on the picture thing, a photos aren't part of my hobby at all. I'm really unhappy with what I've come up with for lids, so I'm looking for someone with acrylic skills to build what I want - if they have the skills to build a sump this should be easy. I got the same mesh as Eric, but because I can see the rim of my tank i think it's only temporary.

Are you going to drill several small holes in the acrylic so that you get oxygen exchange?

I want a 2 eurobraces essentially. The first one covers the display of the tank, and i'll need a peice meet with the top of the overflow. Under the halide I want to have a 8x10" opening for evaporation, the 1/4" mesh will go over that and be held in place by another 10x12" eurobrace that is secured with 4 small acrylic bolts - if there is such a thing. Other than that 2 hinges and a pull attached to allow access to the front at least for feeding.

I know what you mean! These fish are very quick! I'm amazed at the great pics that have been posted on this board!

Once your bluespot settles in it is easier to get pics. Some actually enjoy getting their photo taken and pose for you (I'm sure this is what they are doing...Spotty and Jose do it all the time).
