It's live. I was watching for a while. Now it's mind of Mencia. He's funnier.
Great idea. I had to scroll my window down and over to see him better.

I got a bluespot today.... I stopped in a petstore today...And to my surprise they had a bluespot lookin right at me.... I said I will Buy it... no questions asked.. Pictures when I can find the fellow/gal

That is so cool. I hope he/she doesn't get lost in your monster tank. Mine is doing well. He has another hole and now peaks over the top of my mushrooms to see what is going on in the room. The area of the tank he chose is a good one because only the small fish can get into this area. We just finished having wine with our friends in front of the tank and he sat and watched the whole party!

What does your bluespot eat?

Mysis or krill is the easiest to get them to take. I use a mixture of pressed fresh garlic, mysis, krill, plankton with a few other odds and ends mixed in from time to time. Sometimes when I am lazy, I will use a prepared supplement like Zoe, Selcon, or a Garlic somthingorother instead of the fresh garlic.

The bluespot was just going nuts during acclimation.. Jumpin and splashin and flopping all over. I was afraid to put him in the tank when it was time. I was afraid it was gonna jump out of the net... I had my boyfriend put him in the tank while I covered my eyes, lol It went onto the rock work with its mouth wide open , like growling at the other fish... It was funny.. I think Im gonna name him/her ATTIE for "attitude"

Way cool, congrats Vicki. That's five new BSJF by my count. Let's hope they all have good longevity and tip the mortality scales and separate RS from the masses!

Great news Vicki! I hope the blue appreciates your giant tank. It will be interresting to see if keeping one in a larger tank proves to be more successful.

Any signs of new sand piles or holes under or between your rocks today?
