Pictures with Borders..

Well today i started to play with taking my time to get cleaner/sharper images..

I picked up a Cable shutter release, using a tripod now and decided to try to make the images alittle more "Presentable" and i was shocked when my Neighbour wants a copy of the Pink Zoos in a 16-20inch print for his living room.. lol, He has never seen a Reef Aquarium untill i moved in here but he loves the way they look

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks
Michael Lambert.

#1 is overexposed, #2 is beautiful, #3-4 are underexposed.

You're moving awfully fast- these look great. I think you need to learn how to use and shoot to the histogram now.

To try to get the "pop" back in the colors, you need to be doing a levels adjustment rather than messing with contrast.

Also, be sure to play with the "shadow" slider in your RAW converter.

Humm...

Alright Images 3-4 where shot at 400ISO instead of the 100 that the first and second where.. Would that be the issue? Or should i have gone higher than 400?

Sense #2 looks good i will try and adjust the colors in it..

Alright,

I did some minor editing, Trying to use this dame Programs is just as hard as using the Camera.. lol,

Hopefully it looks better, Its kind of hard to adjust the color of one coral with out screwing up the color of the others???

Looks good. ISO will not be your exposure issue unless you're shooting in manual mode. Otherwise the camera sets the exposure according to the light level, shutter speed, aperture and ISO. The problem is the camera is not doing a great job of setting the exposure in this situation. They're pretty good for machines but far from perfect.

You need to use exposure compensation to get the exposure correct.
