Online basic photography class

Im thinking of starting a class for photography here. I will perform this class through a thread and scheduled through chat aslo.

I will be available through email and phone for any questions throughout this class.

We would start with film basics and then move to Digital basics and on to post processing basics.

If you are interested please use the poll and provide a time in which you would be available for chat.

here are a few samples.

Sounds interesting. Just pick a time that works for west coast vs. east coast.

I'm interested. Don't know when would be a good time though. Evenings will probably be the best depending on the day.

Re: Online basic photography class

I would be interested as well. I'd like to learn about the digital and post processing aspects especially. I'm on the west coast and my schedule is pretty flexible so I don't have a time preference. I would prefer a week night over a weekend.

I'm interested but not sure I can commit to a scheduled chat time. Hopefully the thread itself may be helpful, if I can't attend all of the chats.

Sounds like a lot of fun. My schedule is pretty full, so I probably won't be able to attend a lot of the chats but I would love to read any of the material and if possible read the chats I can't attend.

Re: Online basic photography class

I am Interested in the class as long as I dont have to go out and buy a $1000 camera and a $800 lens. I have a wife and 3 young kids and all my money is tied up in corals. LOL. I have a Canon S5IS.

What thats no excuse... I also have 3 kids, a wife and a tank LOL

No,... mainly what is needed is the ability to have full control of your setting (a manual mode) which the powershot S5 IS does have.
