Last of the 10D shots

(lots of them though )

This is probably the last batch from the 10D. Man, I loved this camera.

Travis, those look awesome. Does the LFS just give you free reign over there or what?

Trav, those are awesome! I can't wait to see what you come up with on the 20D tho. You have 2 of my fav. fish that I have/had up there. The potters (had) and the mystery wrasse (have), altho the coloration on that wrasse seems to be in a "drab" phase, not your or the camera's fault tho.

Also, are you liking the 20D more than the 10D?

Nick, we had the DFWMAS meeting there last Saturday. Made it interesting wading through what must have been 100-150 people to take shots.

I've gotten numerous people asking how to "make the backgrounds black." In this case, the technique was very simple: Shoot at a fish store that was kind enough to paint the backs of their holding tanks black. This is the same place where I shot the "bigeye" that was the Feb. FAMA cover.

Generally handheld. These were handheld with the 420EX flash, and the camera set to lock exposure at 1/200th no matter what.
