| Bryozoan | Re: November '09 POTM Voting! It appears that the contest ended. Very close competition. Very nice clam and photo for the second place. I love the color! Thanks to all that voted for my photo (#1). Some comments about my clam and technics used to get that photo. This clam was in my 125 gallon reef until recently that died as a result of the invasion of blue mushrooms I have. The winning photo is the result of one of my photo session were I get close to 100 photos of the same subject at different angles using my two lenses. At the moment of the photos I had a Nikon D40x which was replaced with a Nikon D60. I have a 18-105mm Nikkor zoom and a Nikkor manual AIS 105mm macro. For some of the macros I used Kenko extention tubes. All photos are with a tripod and pumps off. That gives me the oportunity of shooting at slow speeds and apertures around f11 for better depth of field (focus). Enjoy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
