October '07 Photo Contest Entry

It's photo contest time again!!

October's photo contest theme will be Gorgonian corals!

Winner will receive their choice of a T-shirt, mouse pad, or coffee mug sporting their photo! This month's prize is donated by Lcstorc (Thanks Lynn!) In addition, the winning photo will be paraded on our home page for one month

Please review the entry regulations below and GOOD LUCK!!

Rules:
1) One photo per contestant,
2) Photo subject matter must be from the member's tank (or household tank) and must be a Gorgonian coral.
3) Photos that have previously won any other contest are not allowed,
4) Photos MUST be uploaded to the October '07 Photo Contest Gallery by midnight (EST) September 30th!

Sorry, no moderators or administrators allowed to participate in this contest.

A voting poll for all submitted photos will be available October 1st and will remain open through the 8th.

Once you upload your photo into the October '07 Photo Contest Gallery, please post it here in this thread so we can see it!

One of the best things about this contest is it prompted me to research Gogonian's since I don't have any. Can't wait to see the entries!

To bad I spent my money on the sun coral instead of the red sea fan! It was $50, so I didn't buy it... If I take pictures of it in the LFS, can I still enter?

Pics need to be from one of your tanks. You still have time for another lfs trip and pics.

Darn. Yes enough time, but not enough money lol! Plus I don't want to gamble to much on my new tank.

Find a local reef club if you can and go for frags. Most trade frags or sell them pretty cheap.

cool, i have been wanting to show off my Gorgonian. if i remember right, my purple one is a real challenge to get a close up.

You have to tell me what kind of gorgonian it is so I can research it for my pony tank.
Just kidding but I would love to know names when possible since I really do want a variety of hitching posts and some gorgonians are great for that.
