| Golden Moray | Re: Id Please!! The only Lobophylia in the shown colours would be a L. hemprichi, however, she is not perfectly circular and show another form. I have a L.hemprichi, the shown ones is, however, in my opinion a Scolymnia sp. like Prow quite properly said. Indeed, these are also no Scolymnia vitiensis. Scolymnia vitiensis looks like this one: ![]()

| Tridacna maxima | Re: Id Please!! it could be a Scolymia australis. i get the Scolymia genius mixed up. either way it looks like some type Scolymia. heinz Scolymia are single polyed. i think that is a Lobophylia you got there. the one in question i think is a vitiensis because it has dome shape but it could be a cubensis or australis aswell. here is a australis http://www2.aims.gov.au/coralsearch/...0pages/339.htm here is a vitiensis Scolymia vitiensis here is a cubensis Scolymia cubensis

Oh oh ohhhhhh ... there a mistake has appeared with the inscription of the picture Prow, the shown one is no Scolymnia, it is a Symphyllia, sorry! Unambiguously my mistake. The requested animal in the picture is indeed a Scolymnia, there we agree. They seem in the nature in different colours, here this is a green-red Scolymnia australis. ![]()
