Unhappy Is my coral dying?

Hi,

I have this mushroom coral and have been having problems with it for about a week, and not sure whats wrong with it? I have had it for over a month now and it has always looked great! And suddenly its gone like this. (Pics below)
I have previously posted a thread about this but I have better pics now and was wondering if it looks normal or if its dying? Also any advice on what I could do to help it.
I have a fairly strong current in the tank but have since directed the powerheads further away from it, as I read that this coral doesn't like to be in direct flow. (Which hasn't helped it)
I did all water tests I could today and they are:

Temp: 26c
SG: 1.024
PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
NitrIte: 0
NitrAte: 0
Phosphates: 0 (You'll see on a pic I took when it was doing well that I had a lot of hair algae, which has now gone thanks to my RO/DI)
CA: 440
MG: 1200

I really need some advice and if this is completely normal or not.
Thanks for you time.

Re: Is my coral dying?

Mine does that all the time. It will stay closed up for like a week and then it's fine again. Sometimes it will close at night and sometimes it won't.
Did you test for alk?

Re: Is my coral dying?

Thanks a lot for your advice, I really appreciate it. I'm a complete beginner with corals. I do research what I'm buying but when something looks out the ordinary its always good to get some advice, so cheers.

Its been opening up less and less for a while now, when it first closed up for most of the day I decided to move the powerheads a little, I have now put them back to their original position. Weird thing was that a few days ago when the lights went on, it was very dark grey for a few hours before completely opening up. Then after the lights went out its stayed bold ever since.

What is "HA"?
And the ALK: 2.74 (Don't know why I forgot this)

Re: Is my coral dying?

Although it is probably just pouting/shedding, I would focus on raising the magnesium up a bit to around 1300ppm.
