| Fire Coral | Receding candy"s OK had my ph drop to 7.4 and have gotten it back up to 8.0 at night 8.2 during day. nitrates 12.5 nitrites 0 amonia 0 calcium 440 alkalinity 11.6 dkh magnesium is at 880-890 atm This droped from 1300 ish over the past week, so i am slowly bringing it back up at 25mg a day. My question is they lost some of theri tissue because of this. How long does it usually take to grow back once all parameters are correct? My plate colony receded, only leaving most its bone strtucture present, but since the ph got back to normal and magnesium came up a bit alot of their soft tissue structure is growing back over the skeleton some are already completely back.

| -CHAUVINIST PIG- | Re: Receding candy"s my suggestion would be to get things all leveld, and then slightly bump your calcium, and feed the corals food soaked in seclone. that should "speed" their recovery!
