I agree with Victor. I'm GREAT at cutting things up but I'm challenged when it comes to attaching. Getting better though.

It will start growing as soon as it attaches, of course the rate of growth will depend on your tank conditions and the health of the frag and the type of leather coral itself. Some leathers grow a lot faster than others.
