| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: white spots on rock Have you changed lights? Bulbs? Rock level in the tank? Sometimes when existing coralline is exposed to more intense light it will indeed bleach and whiten. We have a local reefer here who went with 20k MH bulbs and ALL of his coralline bleached and receded except on the bottoms of the rock.

| Tubeworm | Re: white spots on rock No i have not changed the lighting for some time now. no where near the time in which this has started happening. im really stumped as to what has caused this. Its not all the coralline but just small patches in different areas of the tank |
