bubble coral coming off

i have bubble coral and it is a horseshoe shaped piece of rock base and the bubbly part looks like it is peeling off and leaving a white scale looking base behind and it is shriviling up after it has come off but the attached part looks fine....should i trim the shrivel or glue it or string it back on to re attach?? .......or is it dieing on me??

Can you post a picture please?
Do you see any brown slimy film on it?
How long have you had the coral?
Is it in too strong of flow?
Are any fishes picking at or near it?

Please post your water parameters
