Re: Flower Pot Coral surprise!

Sounds awesome. Seems like more and more people are getting these corals. It would be great to hear from an expert how they can be kept alive long term. I know Woodstock has obviously figured it out in her tank from her gorgeous pics but the rest of us seem to have difficulty.

Re: Flower Pot Coral surprise!

I was eyeing a couple of beautiful pink goniopora at my LFS about 2 weeks ago. I am glad now I did not buy one especially having done no research.
I didn't even know what I was looking at and I didnt want to ask. That is the first step to buying one you know. Plus my trusted LFS employee was not working then.

Goniopora.org:::Goniopora Reference Web Site is an amazing web site filled with so much great info.

When the time is right I just may try my hand in keeping a flower pot coral.

I am pretty sure I saw him log in yesterday (assuming his user id is John Kelly). Saw him reading a few of the posts but haven't seen him post anything.

Thanks

It was still open when I left this morning, and is coming out more and more, slowly but surely.

Re: Flower Pot Coral surprise!

Sounds great Kimoy. Can you share pics and tell us what you are doing to be able to keep this coral happy? Lots of people have difficulty so lets hear your tricks.
