My clownfish made my new rics fall how do i make them stay put?

My new rics are attached to little tiny rocks, but when the 10k lights went off, one of the clownfish sent one of them tumbling down on top of the brain... will this harm them? I tried to rearrange them, but now they wont stay put, and i don't know what to do... If i loose these rics i'm going to be really upset! someone please help!! Thanks in advance!!

Andy you can use some aquarium epoxy to attach the ric's rock to your LR.

I have not tried that brand. It was just the first one I quickly found.

I know some of my corals are on rounded rocks. It is really hard to get them to stay. Can you leave them on the sandbed?

Also when I add new corals to the tank I will place a net by them for a couple days so the fish wont go near them. Works everytime. Fish dont like nets so they stay away from the corals. My clown does the same thing. Makes me mad sometimes.

Harm your rics? One time I was siphoning water with a gravel cleaner and I didn't see one of my little ric's had fallen and , oops, slurp, swoosh through the plastic tube and the little bitty opening to the bigger part of the siphon tube and down into the 6 gallon water container. Well, I fished it out when I was done and put it back in the tank and he is fine. Doing really well in fact. I think your rics will be fine, they probably faired better than the ride I gave mine.

just use some super glue gel and glue them down to a rock. They should be fine by just doing that. Unless you have a super strong clown!

Can i purchase any super glue gel? I'm scared of using chemicals like that in my tank...

To get it faster and not have shipping and handling charges your LFS should carry the glue, maybe you can check it out tomorrow.

i have never heard of that before, I know that there have been shrimp that have been super glued when they go and get in the wet super glue it only takes one or 2 minutes under water to harden.

so any super glue gel will work? One of the ricks went and fell down again overnight... but luckily it landed right side up on the substrate. I'm headed to the LFS straight after work!

If you are trying to glue the small rock the ric is on to a larger rock then just get the super glue gell and you will be fine. Someone did recently have a shrimp get in the glue while it was still wet but a couple of molts later the shrimp is just fine.
If you are trying to glue the ric to the rock then it is much harder. For that I would let the ric attach itself to a small rock by putting in in a container with some rock rubble for it to attach to. Then glue the small rock to the big rock.

superglue GEL!!!! the gel is key!!! it will not harm the tank at all and sets very fast.
My clown does this to any coral near his anemone and cave, he used to puch over my candy canes, brain, acro, zoos... and thats all i can think of off the top of my head. They are funny little guys, but gotta love them
