| You talkin ta ME? | what can be kept with what? Hi guys I need a book or something on which corals can be kept with which corals. Stinging and aggressiveness and such. And their environments: I'm getting into lighting and so far I seem to be gathering that shrooms and softies need about 4 to 6 watts per gallon, SPSs are 5 to 8, LPSs like 6 to 9. How close is this estimation? If I get a MH 150w, I'm figuring that translates into only 4 watts per gallon in my 37g (roughly). So I'm better off with a 250w MH? That's only 6 watts per. My tank is 24 inches deep. Boy, my physics and bio high school teachers would be ashamed.

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: what can be kept with what? i have a 4x54 T5 set up over my 75 which is 24 inches deep and my shrooms are growing and dividing like mad men.. even the ones on the bottom. I also have a Hammer coral and candycane that are both LPS which are thriving... SPS tend to be the more "light demanding" coral along w/ clams ... u can get away w/ PC's on LPS but t-5 and MH will do ya good just depends on what ya got and how high they are put in the aquarium...
