Turbinate Teeth Coral

Has any one heard of this coral? My LFS has a couple of these which I am told they are rare. They are supposed to be like a donut coral only with teeth or teeth looking tentacles. They retail for $175 CAN and would like to know more about them before I purchase it. I may try and get a photo of it next time I'm in the store. I did google it with no luck.

Thanks,

Chris

Snelly40: Thanks for the effort!

boozeman: Thanks for the link. That looks like it. Now I just need to figure out if this coral is rare enough to be worth the $175 CAN.

Re: Turbinate Teeth Coral

Colorful Scolymias can be quite expensive, so depending on the color it could be the going price.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

The ones at the LFS are amazing looking. I was told that his supplier only gets a permit to import 5 a year (maybe just for Canada, dunno).
