| Tuxedo Urchin | Plate coral placement I have a small problem. I have a bubble tip anemone coming today for my 30 cube. Right now I have a LT plate in the tank that I need to move. I don't have much space on the sand in my 90 gal. Does a plate coral NEED to be on the sand or can I prop it on the rockwork? |

| Sunshine Reefer | Re: Plate coral placement I have only ever seen them on the sand so I am not sure. I do know that they can move so if you put it on the rocks be sure it cannot move and fall off.

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: Plate coral placement If you put him on the rocks and he moves, falls or gets knock over then he could do some serious damage to himself. It really is best to keep him on the substrate.
