| Star Polyps | new anemone won't stay anywhere Any suggestions? I have had him for four hours now and he keeps getting sucked into the water column and tumbling around. He just got stuck in the powerhead for about 10 seconds until I could get him out. I have since lodged him in between a couple rocks for now. |

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | You should cover all overflows and ph with plastic screening. I would feed it a piece of silverside as soon as it anchors itself and looks happy. I have had 2 rbta for quite sometime and they don't move. One is located at the bottom of the tank and the other is about 1/2 way. One has strong flow and the other medium flow but they're both very happy. GL

| Star Polyps | Today, about 24 hours after acclimating it, it is upside down up against the rocks near the bottom part of the overflow. (has a suction grate in there). It's "bottom" is very pink and swollen. I probably should have titled this thread "his bottom is pink and swollen!" That would garner some attention, huh? |

| Tunicate | I have 3 BTA in my tank. They go where they want, when they want. 2 were side-by-side for a couple of days & 1 of them moved on.

| Plate Coral ![]() | What kind of anemone is it? It shouldn't be floating around like that, it should actually stick to the spot where you place it fairly quickly if it's healthy. How much flow do you have going? If you can, try and decrease the amount of flow. A pic might be helpful as well.

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | I don't think it's too much. But I am very curious as to your water parameters (salinity, temp, nitrAtes, ph) and lighting. He should have anchored by now...

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | I keep my salinity a bit higher than yours (35ppt) but your tank sounds like a great environment. Maybe he is still stressed due to shipping/handling? Is he eating? Keep us posted! I have the same light fixture you do! Love it....but I would rather have the 2 fans come on with the actinics and not just with the MH.
