| Midas Blenny | I just got a Bulb Anemone this afternoon. As the title says, he's no more. My filter got him while I was out with my friends. His mouth is ripped wide open and the tentacles that were not damaged are starting to deflate. ![]()

| Tridacna maxima | Re: My Anemone is no more... Dude, that sucks alot. Most people put screens or something over all intakes, nems love to try getting into places they should not be. Anyways, sorry to hear about the loss, you 100% sure its gone? Some stuff can look pretty beat up and still pull through.

| Do I look as lost as I am ![]() | Re: My Anemone is no more... Which tank is this in? Do you now have the filter "covered" so it can't get back into it?
__________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!! Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change. Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian) This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!! | Midas Blenny | Re: My Anemone is no more... I have no clue how, but he looks like nothing has happen Anyway, the silly thing finally settled right near the filter that cause all my woes last night. At least the filters are covered now. As for that fragging, it's scary to think I'm cutting a living thing in half. |
