| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: What's with my anemone? IMO it largely depends on what you put in your mush. I am kind of strange and don't like to feed them the same thing all of the time. Basically, I wouldn't want to eat the same thing every day. I am probably giving the fish more credit that I should but that is my thought. So I switch it up. Mush for a couple of days. Then Mysis for a day or two. Sometimes flakes or pellets or any one of the several types of food I have in the freezer. You want to put Nori in if you have any fish that prefer algae, but other than that I think a good mix in your mush should be fine. Lee would know more about it.

| Star Polyps | Re: What's with my anemone? I personally think its way too early to have a anemone. I suggest waiting a year before introducing. I think your SG is a tad high. I think lighting is a huge issue. Your long spined urchin could be upsetting it too. I think the main thing is your lights and your water quality. I know you said your tests are fine but you cant test to se if your tank has fully matured. There is heathly bacteria your anemone needs for survival you cant test for that. I honestly think you should take it back if you can. And no the sting wont hurt unless you are allergic.

| Midas Blenny | Re: What's with my anemone? Hi everyone, I know its been a while since my last post, Sorry about that. But I have been a busy little bee. And, I wanted to watch my anemone, who I think is doing really well, I got rid of my cyano problem, added a sump/refuge, torn apart my cabinet and rebuilt it. It would be wonderful if a moderator can combine this thread with my thread in the reef chronicles here is the link. Let's watch my new tank grow I will have a lot of pictures to post so see you there.
