| Smilie Bartender ![]() | I've seen the price drop considerably lately, as the market seems to have been flooded with them- at least comparatively. There's a LFS in Houston selling them for $30 (this is hearsay, but popular hearsay). It's hard to say what a fair price would be in your area, but you might hold out for a while as the change to supply and demand will inevitably have an effect- with all of them available, all those people who always wanted one are getting them. Supply has increased, soon demand will decrease IMHO. Travis

| Tunicate | There are about 1000 a week landing in the states from China at this point in time. This is why we have seen the price plummet recently. It's not likely to last forever, this mass importation of RBTA's. When its over, the price will go back to what it was previously. My advice to all of those in the market for this species is to go ahead and find a nice, healthy specimen and buy it. ![]()

| Scopas Tang ![]() | Wow...I just came back from my LFS, and the owner sold 7 of them last week for $60 each. That's actually a great price for around here. He said he'll have more next week. He's also selling a green BTA for $40...looks in great health. Wish I were rich. -RY

| Dragon Moderator ![]() | Around here, I've only seen the BTA's in the $125 to $150 price range. That was through Big Al's (younge and steels) and Canadian Reef in Mississauga. PJ's Yorkdale had one small sickly looking one for $100 but I don't think I would get it from there. Haven't recently been to the other LFS"s in the area though.

| Reef Lobster ![]() | Chad at Reefscience (our sponser) has some on sale for $55. I don't think you will find prices much better than this online. Go to the ultra corals section, it is about midway down the page... Fwiw, I have seen these exact one that are on sale and they look healthy to me (although I didn't take a close look). I don't think he would sell anything that was even close to being "subpar" Take er easy SCott T.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Here in the S.F.Bay area, the prices vary greatly. I've seen 2-3" ones for less than $50.00 and 6+" ones for over $200. I got mine from a lady who has them split like mad in her 240, and sells the clones. I paid $70. for a great 6" RBTA, and it has split once for me already, so now I have 2 6" beauties. Hers have consistently been the best growers, and the best, most prolific at self-cloning that any of us have ever seen. This crappy pic was taken about a week after I got it, as my TR black perc/oscellaris found out what anemones were made for! ![]() |

| Ricordea ![]() | A LFS in my area is selling them at 49.99, 4 inch size. Wish I had room, they were excellent specimens.
