Beautiful Carpet! When you grow out some babes let me know. I will be interested in a pair.
Carpets are also known for eating there host. I think that is why jack recommended pulling it.

Re: my ew little nem

That is a S. Haddoni and a very nice one..love the green. If it was a mertensii I would be so jealous. If I had a green mertensii it would go in a dedicated anemone tank with my two A. Chrysopterus clowns.

Christina is right. You have a Haddoni. The paper work is wrong. Beautiful anemone, though. I have one like it.

Re: my ew little nem

My bro actually had a carpet a bit bigger than that. It ate several of his fish (and i think some zoos). Anything that came near it got eaten. Then he moved it to his 24g., where he couldnt eat anything, but it was far too big to be in there, so in the end he had to sell it to the lfs.

Re: my ew little nem

From pictures above, it appears to be a S.haddoni, not S.mertensii. Mertensii has verrucaes of orange or purple colors on its trunk and foot. Here is one of my Mertensiis:

Mertensii prefers rock substrate and Haddoni requires sand for long term survival.
