| Tunicate | BTA closed 3 days. Should I be worried? Pics. Hi, Here's a link to my thread in the nano tank forum for some history on the tank: Chuck's new JBJ 28 Gallon Nano Cube My BTA has been closed slammed shut for 3 days: ![]() ![]() Here she is on the 6th: ![]() Water parameters yesterday were: SG: 1.025 pH: 8.2 Alk: 3.0 meq/l calcium: 360 Nitrate: trace (no noticeable color change on Salifert kit) Temp: steady 78f Weekly 1 gal WC's All stock and LR and 75% of initial water was from a well established (several years) 65 gallon tank. I've never noticed her do this before and I'm a bit worried. Thoughts? Chuck |

| Neon dottyback | Re: BTA closed 3 days. Should I be worried? Pics. was this a rose? the tips look like it might have been. If it is, it looks mighty bleached to me. In any event, try aiming a powerhead towards it. Not full blast mind you, but just to change its current a little. That might coax it into a spot where it will open for you. |

| Fire Coral | Re: BTA closed 3 days. Should I be worried? Pics. Did it open for you yet? It looks like it is holding on to its rock well. I would leave him alone... Looks like he is just sulking. Sometimes they expel mucus and take a while to be happy again. |
