I'm not an expert but it looks distressed.
Have you tested your tank parameters lately?

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: is there something wrong with my BTA

Definitely not good signs.
(although it's not unusual for them to expel uneaten foods and waste through the mouth)

How old is the tank?

Re: is there something wrong with my BTA

I have seen them do this with any change in the waters ions. So a shift in Alk, pH, Mg, Ca, temp and/or salinity will cause them to do this if it is big enough. Sometime a water change will make them do this too.

Anemones are like semipermeable membranes. They must equalize the ions inside their cavity with the ions in their environment. Otherwise, they would explode. When their environment changes drastically, they must expel their inside water and replace it with new water to equalize. This is why you hear so many reefers say that a stable tank is needed for anemones.

Have you been making any changes to your tanks water chemistry? Any additives? Any changes taking place in pH, temperature or changes in salt type?

Looking better already!

Have you added any new livestock recently that could be playing chemical warfare in the tank?

They do puff up and deflate. The mouth should stay small and not gape. They do poop. Here's a link to a super awesome website to read about anemones. Karen's anemones

Heh-heh...my roses used to let me know when it was time to feed them....

FEED ME!

I could have stuck my finger in the maw of that one...but I really didn't really want to know if anemones have teeth or not hidden back there...

That's not gaping. I don't see it's innards and it's shapely. Go figure I can't find the pic I want when I need it.
