Re: how to handle a BTA

the hard part was one of my powerheads didn't have a clip with the suction cups so it was residing in rocks so i had to zip tie it to another powerhead heh

Sounds good.
Don't worry if it moves around a bit tring to find a comfy spot. Most do not want to stay where you want them to stay. Grabbing on quickly is a good sign.

Re: how to handle a BTA

yeah i figured as much i have to give reef scavangers alot of credit they were real nice and super helpful about the first BTA arriving dead and instantly sent me out a new one...the new one however was about half the size of the dead one so i will include that in my email response back to them but thats the only complaint that i have and that still doesn't even bother me...but some of the best customer service that i've received in a long time especially in this hobby where people think that they are smarter then everyone and are jerks or just flat out don't believe u and where i put it wasn't really where i wanted it to be but just the easiest location to place it away from other corals i have a feeling im going to be having to move my frogspawn or my acans heh

Re: how to handle a BTA

Glad to hear of the good experience. You should write it up in vendor experiences so it won't get lost in this thread.
As far as the size you would be amazed at how they can shrink and expand. Hold off a day or two before saying something about the size. It will probably expand when it gets comfortable.
