Re: aiptasia help

I still say that pepps are a great option for getting rid of aptasia....at least the ones that I get are. Twice I've had the prob in two different tanks....both times I added peppermints and they took care of it all for me...even the big ones....and I do feed my tank, they still eat the stuff. They didn't go after it right away after being put in the tank, but within a few weeks ALL of my aptasia was gone....even the monster ones !

Re: aiptasia help

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Joe's Juice. $8 or so, comes with an injector, kills instantly.

I bought a Peppermint shrimp, but the jerk hasn't done a thing. (Besides hide under a rock for 3 months)

Re: aiptasia help

I started a post on this about a month ago, I decided to start over since I was only a week into the stup plus I wasnt 100% satisfied with the setup anyway. I read about Berghia Nudibranch's while I was doing some research and I read that they eat big ones small ones and they eat them down to the roots so they dont come back. They are kinda creepy looking but whatever works! heres what they look like.....I think the second picture is enhance... its the only picture Ive seen with those colors. That would be cool if they did come in those colors though. Only thing is ... they only eat aiptasia so once they are gone....the nudibranch will die
