| Bryozoan | I keep on falling.......innnnnnnnnnn.........aaat love........with-a-you! Sometimes I love ya! Sometimes you make me blue! Sometimes I feel good. Attt--times I feel used. Lovin' you darlin' makes me so confused! Okay seriously, I was at the LFS today when my eye struck a tank with two beautiful anemones in it. Yes, I should have known better. I should have kept on walking, but it was love at first sight. It's like when you, by chance, meet a guy that you first think it the love of your life, with everything going for him, but than you get the first taste of bitter poison that resides within his tentacles; pulling you in father and farther in until you are stuck. So I am now the owner of two beautiful pink tip anemones. And after some research I find that they were mislabel, but either way I don't have the necessary light requirements to keep them alive. And the LFS won't take them back. They are adjusting very well to my tank so far. They are very sticky and immediately took food from me within 2 seconds of offering it. And I am in LOVE!!!! Water readings: pH--8.4 Ammonia-0 Nitrite--0 Nitrate--0 SG---1.022 And now they have planted their foot onto my LR and also my heart! ![]() |

| Watch this Ma! | Re: Somebody just slap me! Unless you have proper light, a shallow tank isn't going to help either. Start a thread in the For Sale section and see if someone close to you will take them. The bad thing is, these anem's are fish eaters...

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: Somebody just slap me! Was thinking the same thing. Definitely be careful with the condy's as they're extremely aggressive and will eat small fish. They also tend to move around a bit and can wipe out a good number of corals in a short period of time. Its a real shame the LFS sold them to you, most lfs in my area won't even carry these as they are (IMO) at least not reef safe, and make for poor tank inhabitants in general (although they sure are beautiful) Good luck with whatever you end up doing. Let us know how it all works out

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Somebody just slap me! I've been in the same place but with one instead of two. It quickly took over the tank. It could stretch out a full 2 feet and none of my fish would go anywhere near it. I ended up giving it to my kids highschool marine biology class who was quite thrilled to have it in their mostly empty tanks. Check around there may be a school near you that would appreciate the donation. I would also start looking for a new lfs. If they are giving bad advice and are not willing to even work with you then try to find somewhere else. In all cases do your research first to avoid such issues. I used to bring a basic ID bood with me. My current LFS has a shelf full that we look through together when there is a question about something.

| Watch this Ma! | Re: Somebody just slap me! And you're doing the right thing by asking "what now?". I like Lynns idea. Check with the local schools and see if any of them will take them.
