Sounds great!! I was so about to have a heart attack you just have no idea. I was about to throw my anemone away good thing I couldn't get him off or it would be dead right know.

Re: Need Help Asap!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm glad you didn't toss it.

You're not out of the woods just yet. I want you to stock up on your test kits and keep a close eye on your parameters. Also feeding the anemone a piece of shrimp or silversides a couple times a week won't hurt either.

1 more question, what is your lighting?

Sorry that I bombarded you with a ton of questions.

Re: Need Help Asap!!!!!!!!!

I was just going to order more today and just ask me as many questions as you need. As for the light I can't remember the name but let me look it up real quick.

Re: Need Help Asap!!!!!!!!!

You are going to need to upgrade your lighting in order to keep the anemones long term. You are going to want T5's at the minimum or metal halides.

What size tank is this?

Just because I'm new doesn't mean I can't care for it properly I would just need to make ajustments.

Re: Need Help Asap!!!!!!!!!

it has nothing to do with you.

it has to do with the fact that your tank, is not fit to house an anemone.

its waaaaaaayyy to young.

(cycles are like important)

your lights are not sufficient.

(photosynthisis)

and those are like, the two most important things.

you can do with it what ever you want

not so much that, your posting on here says that you really want to do good by your nem buddy What Bob means is that your tank is REALLY young for an anemone. Mine is too, but mine's doing well so far. The general rule of thumb is that a tank ages one year or more before you add an anemone. There's lots of things that go on in the water and rocks and micro-level stuff that can't be measured that nems are susceptible to, and it's said that a tank usually has all that ironed out at a year (ish). Or so. That's a bit of a simplification but you get the idea.

There's lots of people here with lots of experience and expertise. If you want to keep it, gather lots of advice and read up and they'll help.
