Think about it.. how do they handle this in nature. Keep in mind it could be moving to try and GET more light..... I wouldn't move it at all.. .just let it go where it wants... because the minute you move it it's starting to try and "understand" and will surely move where mother nature has programmed it to do.

well it looks as everything has been said.the pepole hwo told u that u have enough light lied to you.And u should have waited till ure tank is at least a year old.I have a seabae with two 150 w MH.and id say thats a minumum for this species.

Feed it! Try chopping up silversides and literally stuffing them almost all the way in its mouth if it won't actively "grab" the food itself.

Well, I fed him mysis like I said. Anything at a local grocery store he'd like? They're the only thing open this late.

If he wants light so bad then he should go out from under the rocks!! lol. Okay, I'll run over to the store and pick up some stuff and try to feed him some ofthat.

I would definitely start feeding him. Chopped pieces of shrimp or silversides are good foods for him. I would not move him but let him go where he wants. If you move him you risk damaging the foot. He is probably searching for more light. He will find it in time. Meanwhile be sure to feed since you know he is not getting the light he needs. Other than that it is just a waiting game. Keep your water parameters in line and get the extra lights as soon as you can.

Tsao, can you please post all your test results so we can maybe help a bit more, at 4 mnths your tank is too new, extra precautions are needed

I followed a lot of the advice in this site and it seems good, mine went from bleached to a nice browny pink in a couple months. It seems happy. But it's been under MH the whole time.

Nitrates/ites, ammon arer 0, Ph. is 8.4. It's been the same for the past 3 months I've had the tester, except for Nitrites which were .25 (If i remember correctly) but within a few days that turned to 0.
