| Excellent Guesser :D | Re: what is this?????? Follow Kathy's advice. Keep trying. If it's even a little bit sticky, there is still hope. And when it's not sticky hope some more. I would just say try meaty foods and not pellets or flakes. They can taste the difference.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. |

| Yoda Poohbah~ ![]() | Re: what is this?????? another thing with anemones...there entire diet isnt large food. they will eat mysis and other small critters. so you should also try smaller foods too. if it is weak, smaller foods are easier to digest. you could even srpinkle some pellets onto its mouth,,,,my 4 anemones love pellets and flake food along with squid and shrimp chunks.

A walk to vacation, A necessary sedation, You wanna feel at home cause' you belong. i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~ | |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: what is this?????? I would try both. You could even use the bottle trick to capture mysis or cyclopeze to it. You have the lights and it sounds like it came to you in not good condition. Keep trying different foods and hopefully it will take some. I have also had anemones that eat pellets. I would try to feed daily for now and perhaps try during different times of the day. Once it is eating then slow down the feeding. Hopefully it wil recover. Stickyness is a good sign.
