Sea hare vs anemone?

I just got a sea hare to remove the calurpa from the 50 gallon anemone tank. It is monsterous (5-6"). Now I am starting to wonder if it approaches the anemone and the anemone doesn't want it there, will it work in that tank? I can just put it in until the calurpa is cleaned up and then give it to a friend, but I don't want to kill anything in the tank either. Anyone had one with an anemone before?

I have one in my tank with 2 anemones. It will stay away from the anemones. it got close to my carpet anemone once and it turned quick and went the other way.

i had one, never went close the anemone. but it did try to take a bit out of my clams a couple times before he was out of there. one time i watched it, it had the mantle in its mouth pulling on it. but the clams were the only thing, besides the algae, it went for.

That's also good to know about the clam. Don't have one in this tank, but that means I won't want him in the 125.
