Re: Will my GBTA ever come out in the sun?

Yea. He couldn't grab it quick enough. Got a good sized chunk and folded in on it right away. He was back open in about 10 minutes but that's all he gets this week.

Well here it is. Look close, I don't want you to miss it.

It's truly a giant among Palys. At least it's come out from under the rock. Now if it will just turn green.

So it took about a month? Did your's bleach while it was hiding?
Mine went into hiding when I got it...about 3 months. While it was hiding, it bleached out and split. One just came out last night and the other is still hiding.

Re: Will my GBTA ever come out in the sun?

Yes, the tentacles and oral disc turned nice and white however the the exterior remained a nice reddish brown. It seems to like where it is now though and I'm feeding once a week until its color comes back.

For me this is a definite learning experience. Fortunately, there are a lot of folks here that know much more than me and the answers to any questions I have are only a few keystrokes away.
