Lighting for LTA

I have a 24 Aquapod. 1 32 watt Dual Actinic 420/460nm and 1 32 watt Dual Daylight 6,700k/10,000k. Do I need more for a LTA? Can I replace one of the lights I have and upgrade...and to what?

Re: Lighting for LTA

Is this PC's or T5's ? Although the LTA isn't one of the most light demanding Anemones you still don't have enough IMHO. I would at least double the amount of wattage either retrofitting a couple of more bulbs or use a spot pendant:

JBJ K-2 Viper HQI Clamp 150W Halide Pendant - Includes 14k lamp: Premium Aquatics

If you don't like the Viper... I used the Current Sunpod 150w HQI fixture on my Bio Cube. But, to answer your question... you definitely need more for an LTA.

I have #2020 and #2021

I have the closed top aquapod so I can't have the pendant. I know that nanotuners has stuff but I'm not sure what to look at.

Re: Lighting for LTA

Gotta agree...not NEARLY enough light for any anemone, especially a LTA.
IMO, you don't have enough tank either, as they tend to get pretty big...
How old is your tank? The recommendations have always been NO anemones until the tank is WELL matured, preferrably 1 year...

Re: Lighting for LTA

Unfortunately, I found this site too late and trusted my local fish store. So, I have this anenome and I'd like to fix my tank the best that I can so he can stay happy.

Re: Lighting for LTA

Okay,
I ordered two more ballasts with 2 x JBJ 10K Combo (50/50) Bulbs and an extra fan. Should this suffice?

For hosting Anemones I usually recommend Metal Halide but the LTA isn't one of the most light demanding creatures but nontheless I would keep a careful eye on it. Eventually as BoomerD mentioned it'll outgrow your tank.
