Im going to order(OMG!! online) this week and was looking for a refresher coarse on anemone's, equipment and water is all in line and lots of light, am making lots of make up water for the drip session. Ive read everything I can find, any tips are appreciated thanks Steve. Mumbles the RS chant, oh Linkman hear my plea, grant me this boon repeat repeat

woody and witt are the anemone experts...I'm sure they will chime in once you get it in

An aged and stable tank; low nitrAtes; good flow; strong light. I am finding that it is ideal to have a species only tank for anemones but not always possible (such as in my case

I have never ordered an aneomone online before but if I was going to, I think I would find a trustworthly one and call them to order it. It is still a gamble.. and remember that shipping is stressful on all animals but particularly, aneomes. Some aneomes are more sensitive than others. I recommend a bubble tip anemone for your first one.

Regarding Heteractis Magnifica...

Woodstock , thank you so much, thats what I like in an answer. your thinking a BTA, that could work well for the clowns, is there a specific BTA ? waiting for availability is not a problem lol . Steve

BTA's come in different colors... there are brownish ones, light green, dark green, and rose colored ones(RBTA). Most loose their bubble tips (no clue why) but they're all hardy and beautiful animals. Occassionally, they will even split/divide and create another one!
