| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: BTA lighting question MAYBE...How big is the tank? How deep? 4X65 is IMO marginal, but in a shallow tank, it may be enough. While BTA's are perhaps the least light-sensitive of the clownfish anemones, they still require above average lighting to thrive. I've kept them under 3X110 watt VHO, which is now a LOT more, but...that was also in a 90 gallon (25" tall) tank...

| Midas Blenny | Re: BTA lighting question I have a 55 Gallon 48 x 13 x 21 with a 3'' SB, so the depth is around 17-18'' to the top of the substrate. Of course I have rockwork that decreases that as well. That should come out to about 4.7 watts per gallon. Thanks, Mike Last edited by mnollar : 06-05-2006 at 06:30 PM. |
