Anemone suggestions

I currently have a 12" riterri and a 6" bubble tip. about a month ago i added an ocellarius clown and he is not using the anemones. Are these unsuitable for him...should I look into possibly a long tenticle or a sebae....Any suggestions???

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

ocellarius clown
Is he wild or tank raised ? These clownfish are usually very picky although the Riterri is one of the more popular accepted Anemones for all clownfish unfortunately it's also one of the most difficult to keep alive. It's very possible he may completely avoid the Anemones and choose a coral as a host. My True Percs prefer to be hosted by my Frogspawn over my Bubbletip and Carpet Anemone.

The Long Tentacle isn't a natural host and if he doesn't pick the Riterri he's not going to pick the Malu IMO.

Re: Anemone suggestions

Clownfish are funny sometimes. A couple of mine adopted a BTA immediately, some took longer. One that I had for almost a year never took any interest in an anemone then when I added another young one that knew what to do with it I guess instinct kicked in and it took it over from the younger one right away.
