| A voracious stychodactyla haddoni Hi all, here's my carpet. I called it voracious ever since she ate an urchin, tried several times with my strombus and a common clam, but she is lovely, and my ocellaris have great naps amidst her mantle...she's yellowish green, and glitters a bit under moonlight. I got it with my 60l nano when she was about 20cm wide, now she's moved into a 250l and is now around 50cm diameter (hope she won't grow much more) Never had a problem except for the beforesaid appetite. I feed her frozen shrimps every 2-3 weeks, but will digest also zooplancton when added to the tank. She's proven really helpful when moving my old stock to the 250l, since I needen't catch the ocellaris which just jumped into the net to keep close to her. Here's a couple of pics, one with no lamps on, at dawn. ![]() ![]() |
