This is weird. I'm totally getting deja vu'ing on this carpet anemone with a clown fish.
I need a nap.

Re: Anemone Club!

Wow those are awesome pics of some beautiful anemones.

Here is my humble Rock Flower nem.
He came as a HH on my TBS (Tampa Bay Saltwater) rock.
I also had a condy but he soon went powerhead diving.

Re: Anemone Club!

Thanks everyone!

My mini carpets are my favorites - beautiful colors, and you can chop them in half with no worries about them not making it. I built a 30breeder to showcase them and more easily propagate them.

The Actinia are my newest additions, and went into a 10g coldwater tank. I'm still nervously watching to see how well they adjust to colder temps (they came from a local wholesaler who got them from Ghana a year ago).

Good luck finding them, although it could be easier since you're on the Cali side of things (I'm in DC). It took me about 6 months of searching before I finally found mine, although they're becoming a bit more common (at least, the smaller variation). The key is just getting the first of the maxi variety, then you'll have no trouble getting more as soon as you propagate the first one because people are willng to trade the ones they have much moreso than they are to sell them.
