I'm sure it's already been said but the anemone is the host, not the clownfish/shrimp, etc.

Anyway, here's a pic:

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Re: Anemone Club!

I fed my RBTA a silverside tonight. I lay it inside it's tentacles and it usually jerks and closes up on it. Tonight it must not have detected it because a cleaner shrimp scrambled up the tentacles and snatched the silverside and drug it out on to the substrate. I grabbed it back from him and put it back into the tentacles and shook it a little bit against them. He almost got me, he closed up so fast.

Yeah, he was sleeping, laying on the beach, with a nice hot sun shining down on him, getting a tan...

Then this big scary man came and poked him in the head with a dead flounder. EAT THIS NOW! OR ELSE!

End of story.

Re: Anemone Club!

OK so yesterday i purchased a carpet anemone and tonight i got a clarki clown. and in 3 hours he already has made it home, cleaned it out. defending it against the other clown in the tank who has no interest in the anemone. I feel so freaking happy and amazed this wonderful thing happened to me!
